This project is called “The Intervals” because it was taking place during the couple of months while I was constantly jumping back and forth between designing and planning for my wedding in Taiwan. I was creating these small daily design projects during that time because my main focus was on the wedding and traveling. However, after the wedding I could finally concentrate on making this project happen. In order to save time, I gathered and edited down all the sketches I did during the prior months to form a decent size collection. New ideas were also added to make the collection more cohesive. Therefore, various design features can be seen throughout this project. It was challenging to build a project from random small projects, yet it also makes this one unique and different from everything I’ve done previously.
